The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Employment Litigation Attorney / Senior Counsel to join our Labor & Employment Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney looking to handle sophisticated matters and take on a high-impact role advising public sector and nonprofit clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex employment litigation matters in state and federal courts
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Conduct and oversee workplace and regulatory investigations
  • Provide day-to-day counseling and strategic legal advice on employment and labor issues
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with a high level of precision
  • Partner with clients on risk mitigation, compliance, and workforce management strategies
  • Deliver trainings and presentations on employment law topics
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice group development

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Admission to the California Bar (or ability to become admitted)
  • Significant experience in employment litigation (public sector experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and advocacy
  • Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues
  • Experience with workplace investigations, administrative hearings, or labor relations is highly desirable
